the gdgsa
The GDGSA is the German and Dutch Graduate Student Association at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The GDGSA is an organization for and by the graduate students in the Department of German. We are a registered student organization (RSO) with the university. The membership holds meetings once a month to discuss business and make announcements. The GDGSA elects two co-presidents (one literature, one linguistics), a secretary-treasurer, and student members to numerous departmental committees. The GDGSA also organizes an annual conference, the GDGSC (German and Dutch Graduate Student Conference), which is in the spring. The 2009 conference can be found here
