Carla Love received her Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 1979. She has been teaching undergraduate language and literature courses in the German Department at UW-Madison since 1980. Her campus governance activities include membership on several university-wide committees, in which she works to enhance working conditions for women and instructional staff.
