You are a German 102 student at the UW-Madison, which has a foreign-language entrance requirement of 2 years of high-school instruction or the equivalent. That means you must have had a foreign-language class in secondary school. Several issues arise as a result. Please review the following documents to avoid any confusion: placement, departmental policies, attendance and participation, our approach to teaching, and differences between German 101 and 102.
