This course, a requirement for all German majors, continues and strengthens the skills practiced in 225. See individual sections for details.
Lec 2: MWF 2:25, Markham
The course will emphasize reading, speaking, writing, and listening skill development, with an overall goal to improve accuracy. Students discuss readings, compose essays, and create presentations utilizing topic-centered vocabulary. In such applied and contextualized formats, students learn analytical ways to engage with grammar conceptually and in practice. Focused assignments, quizzes, and exams comprise additional features of the course, which is conducted in German.
